Jim Kelly Making Dreams Come True
Our mission has always been to enhance the quality of life for adults with disabilities, living throughout Western New York. With the help of Jim Kelly, we were able to do just that.
About a month or so ago, our President, Doug Smith and his wife Joanne, were visiting a People Inc residence in Orchard Park. The staff mentioned that Mike (one of the residents) has always dreamed to meet Jim Kelly and have him sign his bedroom wall. They doubted this would ever happen, but Doug & Joanne saw an opportunity to enhance Mike's life!
After numerous phone calls and with the help of Pegula Sports & Entertainment, we were able to have Jim & Jill Kelly visit Mike and the Orchard Park residence this past Tuesday! The K-Gun was welcomed with everyone in their Zubaz and Bills gear. It was an incredible evening filled with smiles and fun. Most importantly, Mike got his wall signed by #12 himself, Jim Kelly.
